Rework starts as drift.
A missed assumption, an outdated trace, a decision without its rationale, or evidence that no longer matches the claim. Small gaps compound until they become expensive to unwind.
M45 exists because late engineering rework is often caused by earlier drift: requirements, assumptions, evidence, and decisions falling out of sync across tools and teams.
A missed assumption, an outdated trace, a decision without its rationale, or evidence that no longer matches the claim. Small gaps compound until they become expensive to unwind.
The same misalignment is cheap to fix when it appears during requirements or architecture work, and painful when it appears during verification, certification, or field operation.
M45 connects artifacts across tools and turns them into traceable, versioned engineering context. AI surfaces misalignment early, engineers decide, and every decision stays traceable.
The goal is not to automate engineering accountability away. The goal is to find misalignment while it is still cheap to fix, so engineers spend less time repairing the record and more time building the system.
